Transport Noise Corridors | Railway Lines
Yesterday the State Government designated railway lines as Transport Noise Corridors. This means all new dwellings and renovations to houses along railway lines will now need to comply with Queensland Development Code MP 4.4.
These provisions will apply to new applications received from yesterday. Unfortunately no prior notice or consultation was provided by the State Government prior to introducing these requirements.
