Currency periods for new Water Approvals have been extended from two to four years.
Please note, new currency periods do not apply to Water Approvals issued before 28 March 2019 and current lapsed applications.

Lodging a new Water Approval or End of Maintenance package? All Water Approvals lodged after 1 May 2019 will require a secondary CCTV inspection to achieving Off Maintenance, as per SEQ Code clause 22.7.1.

PE lining on maintenance structures
All maintenance holes must be PE lined in accordance with the SEQ Sewer Code for internal corrosion (clause 4.7.2) and clearly identified on design drawings.
Sewer maintenance structures and sewer property connections
Maintenance structures and sewer property connections must be located for accessibility to conform with SEQ Sewer Code clause 4.3.4.
