Queensland Urban Utilities | Build Over Sewer Process

Build Over Sewer Applications for Brisbane, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim and Somerset Council areas are now assessed by Queensland Urban Utilities (QUU).

QUU’s new self-assessable process will take approximately 8 days for approval, and replaces the various processes undertaken by Councils. The new process also replaces the instant approval previously provided by Brisbane City Council.

Please be aware that while this timeframe will mean longer approval times for Brisbane work, approval times in the other Council areas will be shorter.
