A reminder that applications for a Construction Certificate (CC), Complying Development Certificate (CDC) and Occupation Certificate (OC) must be lodged on the NSW Planning Portal for all local government areas from 1 July 2021.
In addition to the requirement to lodge applications on the portal, a new government fee of $40 will be charged for using the portal for lodging CCs and OCs.
The $40 portal fee is in addition to the $36 Council lodgement fee. For CDC applications, the fee is yet to be determined by the government. Note that the additional fee being charged for the use of the government portal is a NSW government fee.
Please be aware of these new portal requirements for applications lodged after 1 July.
The new requirements can be found in here https://www.legislation.nsw.gov.au/view/pdf/asmade/sl-2021-180
