From 1 January 2017, signs must show information about how to conduct CPR in accordance with ANZCOR guideline 8.
Guideline 8 is the latest national standard and provides best-practice directions on how to perform CPR in an emergency.
All other requirements for CPR signs remain unchanged.
Signs that are already installed and comply with the current legislation do not need to be updated until they become illegible.
