Transport Noise Corridors
Recent changes have resulted in Transport Noise Corridors becoming less onerous. Some land designated as requiring mandatory acoustic attenuation required has been changed to voluntary acoustic measures.
What this means is that in some areas owners will have a choice in whether they wish to comply with QDC acoustic requirements in full, part or not at all.
